Starting at $77,830 dependent on qualifications, including additional 1% for each year of sworn service (Effective July 1, 2026)

• Experience as a Certified Sworn Police Officer. 
• Must be a US Citizen. 
• High School Diploma or equivalent. 
• Must be able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing. 
• Be of strong character and reputation with the ability to pass an extensive background investigation. 
• Bi-lingual in Spanish is desired. 
• Must be willing to sign a condition of employment agreement which precludes smoking on or off duty.
