Qualifications & Requirements

- Associate degree required.
- Virginia DCJS law enforcement certification.
- Minimum five years prior law enforcement experience in a Virginia agency with primary law enforcement responsibility, plus three years as a law enforcement supervisor at an equivalent or greater supervisory rank.
- Valid Virginia driver’s license with acceptable record.
